Hi fellas, maybe there is a well-known issue you are already aware of, and I have no idea about it. So there were two rainy days in NJ, and my passenger-side carpet got wet. It was wet from all the way from the back seat, right by the door, and extended to the front and built up in that channel with the wire harness. ir was some amount of water in that deep where the plug is the one right next to the pillar. Anyhow, it's not a first time , so I just raised the carpet off the floor to create a bit of air gam and left the plug open ... dehumidified it, and this looks like it's solving the issue for a bit.
So what I already did: I replaced all the rubber seals on all 4 doors with brand new ones; not sure if the rubber seal around the door will help?
If anyone has dealt with something similar, please share ideas

best regards

Could be roof rack leak, bad windshield install leak, sunroof leak, third row window gasket leak, third brake light leak...

Two things to check:
1. sun roof drains - I've had a similar problem
2. wire harness ingress seal for the rear hatch. Open the rear hatch and look on the left side at the top on the body. There is a grommet that has to seal just right or rain water will get in there, make the rear trunk area wet and if car is parked on downhill slope run all the way to the front.
