i'm chasing a couple things (exterior lights on when upper rear hatch opens), and clock resetting to 1:00. also the ultra gauge had to be reset today. i kind of feel like i had the power door locks lock without doing anything except closing the rear hatch once or twice but i could be imagining that. prior to this i solved a headlights not going off when opening drivers side door problem by replacing interior dome LED lights.
1. anyone know what this stray gray wire is at the cabin fuse box? i've got my ultragauge mounted behind using a splitter but i just saw this cut wire?
2. someone suggested i find a pair of wires at the firewall on the left hand side on a right side drive vehicle:
"So there is 3 wires in the left hand side loom just before it goes through the firewall say 3-4inches, they go from 1 wire to 2 or 3 wires and they are literally twisted together no solder just twisted they may be wrapped in tape and from memory they are green, i had a similar issue with my dash lights going on and off and my radio would reset as well, I believe it powers or signals just about everything behind the dash".
anyone know where this is on my left hand drive vehicle?
3. any idea how i access the harness i the left rear pillar by the hatch? i fish my arm yo from down below and disconnect a harness? then i somehow fish it out of the upper rear hatch?
