My A/C made a strange squalling noise tonight and just wondering if anyone has any insight. I started my Lexus Lx450 with the A/c on and everything was great, I drove it about 300 feet to the mailbox and turned off the engine walked to the mailbox (Apartment Living) and when I started the engine up after about 5 minutes the A/c Belt was squalling real loud. I turned off the A/c and drove the gas station when I get there I had the :princess: press the A/C button while I was under the hood. I saw that the A/c condenser did 1 revolution with a lot of belt slipping. A hour later I tried the A/C again and it work just fine the rest of the day. Any ideas/

Adjust belt tension or replace belt. Tensioner in under gravel guard. Box wrench and socket. Loosen tensioner, bolt is facing front of car high up. You will see the long threaded bolt. Then adjust tension by turning on the long bolt.

how's the belt look? they tend to make lots of noise right before they fail.
