well you will be plesently suprised, a OEM Toyota reman rack is $400, new OEM rack is $800.............so really not bad at all :)

Oh and my Toyota dealer(per the service writer) will not work on a Lexus........but my parts guy says if I talk to the service manager........I can prolly talk him into it. But connie tells me she can get 30% off at the Lexus dealer for parts and service thru her car lot........so thats cool.

Pimp, I’m almost afraid to as what a new rack costs. It sounds like a nice rig otherwise. However, I recall someone mentioning that the non OEM glass will bring down the price. ;)

Bought it :)

made a deal for $18K on it.

I got all the records from Lexus, EVERYTHING and then some has been done :) last bill was $3k!

its has synthtic oil in it from day one :)

So Connie has a new ride. the 90 fj62 will be going away, as much as she wants to keep it there is no point in doing so.....so I am offering it to 2 local friends then to Ih8mud.

Congrats!!! Sounds like it had a caring previous owner.

From what Christo has said, you can swap the AHC with LC stuff if you ever want too. But most haven't had any real problems with the stuff, so YMMV.

The Nakamichi CD changer has been known to be tempermental for some, but I think it sounds pretty dern good for an OEM unit.

Wait till you drive on a long cross-country trip in the thing. Set the suspension on soft, and there is almost no driver fatigue. Nice.
