'98 TLC Auto Trans Issue

Just got my '98 TLC 100 series running again after sitting for over 4 years. Its running great except for one issue. When I put the AT in Drive it immediately goes to second gear. When I put the lever in L or first gear, it works great. I am thinking the mice ate through a wire? It could also be a relay or shift control solenoid? Does anyone recognize this problem and know what the solution is? Thanks.

4 years is a long time to sit. Pull all connections off the transmission, inspect/clean. Seems like a controller issue, could be a PRND2L switch itself.

How you going to let a cruiser sit for 4 years!?

I parked it when gas hit $4+/gl. now my son is driving and I needed another car so I broke out the old tlc. thx.
