Im changing the booster/MC in my cruiser with a 95 4Runner setup (doing a disk brake all 4 upgrade). The new combo is slightly longer to the brake pedal. I remember some posts about a spacer of some kind. Looks like I need about 7/16 to 1/2" thick. So, cut a spacer from steel or aluminum, or stack fender washers on the booster studs?
What have you done or seen done that worked?

CompUSA ~

I needed to fabricate something similar for my 1956 Ford F100 Pickup when upgrading the brakes and after thinking about it a while, I went to CompUSA and purchased 2 US. Army Mouse Pads, cut out a Template, used the template to cut the mouse pads, glued the custom-fit-mouse pads together, and used them as a weather-proof gasket & 1/2 inch spacer.
It's still working great.

If you have an average sized 1/4" mouse pad, double it over (or triple it) and you'll see what I mean, it's pretty tough and seals the hole really good.

However, a professionally cut aluminum spacer would look really nice.
