I got a 94 and noticed my idle got a bit rough a few weeks ago but no CEL. Got to do paper clip trick and pulled out a code 28 without CEL. So I ordered 02 sensors at RockAuto Bosch 13448 and 13081 and installed them. Idle issue was fixed even runs smoother and responsive but now I got CEL
Last year, I removed my CATs and had test pipes without CEL issues up until yesterday. Tried to reset codes thru battery disconnect and EFI Main relay to no avail. I tried to test and put back temporarily the old 02 sensors and CEL was gone but my rough idle came back. Thereafer, I decided to put back new ones and deal with the CEL.
So this morning, I tried the paper clip trick to pull out codes but none came out. I've searched and some say ECU will need time to relearn??? I've done 50 miles already on my new 02 sensors.
Anyone had same issues? Could be new 02 sensors are at fault by throwing a CEL without code?
