I have a 1994 22re 160k tps checked out ok, new afm, new denso 02 sensor, new coolant sensor,injectors have been rebuilt, and new iac. I replaced the head gasket this past winter using a toyota head gasket and eb 261 cam and his street rv head. Now for the problems code 25 which is air/fuel ratio lean, I can reset the ecu and as soon as i get on the freeway the code comes back and it starting pinging badly even running 91 octane. I have tried to adjust the afm a little richer with no change in the pinging. Timing is 5 bdc.
Not sure if its related but during a warm or cold start i have to hold the gas pedal 1/2 way to get it to start
