good grief i thought mine had rust i feel alot better now :) i dunno i might take it off for him. But I dont know how much I would give him for it. Check the frame I bet its rusted through in spots. Also how bad is the interior?

geez thats pretty sad. hate to see em' rusting away.

offer him $300 for it and use it for parts....

that A pillar photo makes the A pillar on the passenger side of my 60 look good!

That is by far the most rust I have ever seen on any vehicle in my entire life. I am still in awe that someone would let their vehicle even get to that state.

The Only Thing Holding It Together Is The Paint! Wow. Bad News.

is that a bullet hole in the tailgate? maybe someone DID put it out if its misery!

hammer
84 "rust free" ( compared to that) 60

Have you ever been to Wisconsin or any of the Great Lakes States? It is not as bad as some of the s***e we see around here. My Cruiser has more rust in the rear quarters than that but not any of that stuff around the windows and in the tailgate. I think you right about the neglect though, sheesh what a shame. I don't really see any parts there either. Too bad.

the funny thing is, this guy bought it from the OO in 91 -- and this owner said he used to spray the underside and all quite often --

-- he said it was "undercoated" too, which prob. killed it --

gawd,, I dont mind living in the south after seeing that!!!,, I don think our county even HAS salt for the bridges,, they use sand and say,, "stay at home till it melts ,,,,,, in a few hours"

come on save it, dump many thousand into it and let it live again. can't let a cruiser die!!!! restore the beast. it might be good for parts. buy it and strip it completely, then you got parts forever. just not body parts.

OK, But why?

Makes me kick myself, last year a mechanic buddy of mine was selling a customer's 85 FJ60.

This rotted 62 made that 60 look like I just picked it up from the dealer in 1985.

Killer is all he wanted was 200$ for it and it was all there and even ran fine, I just had no place to put it.

Please steer clear of that POS, unless you truly love to suffer even more than the rest of us.
