Im getting to know "the look" too these days.
Ive gotta lay low for a bit, unless I make the lil woman take some time off.

Looks like I am doing this run and I have a passenger. Maureen Turner, so far the only woman on the original FJ Trail Teams the first two years. She's retired from the trail teams, but loves to get up to Tahoe. This gal can wheel too. Any decent campgrounds in the area on this run?

There are a lot of camp grounds by the boat dock at gold lake (free) that are nice, you can also go back around the lake (take some repenlent).

Good question. Rusty and I can't make it. I'm not sure if anyone's planning on going that's been on this trail before. If your up for it, I can get with you and give you directions. This's a fun area to just go and wheel around, in fact that's how I found the trail. I will say that the camp sites at the 4 wheel drive camp gound are great, go as far up the trail as you can to find a spot. The farther you go the better they get.
