well men, you know me and my lead foot, or is that a spring loaded wrist, seems lately I've been a target for tickets, 2 in three months, not good. I'm learning how to lightly tread on the gas pedal, can't say I'm doing so good on the bike though. What was that about the Panda Express? Is that the new oriental food joint in Truckee? However it works out, I'm just happy to be going on this run with everyone. See you Friday night...

I have an extra third member/pumpkin for a cruiser. The only thing missing is the steel rod that goes thru the spider gears and holds them in. :wrench:Does anyone have one of those floating around? Should I bring it? If I don't hear from ya I won't bring it. Ok then, see you on the trail.:D

let me check, I may have that pin available. I will check when we get back from this trail run.

I can't wait to get out and do runs with you guys! This is going to be a kick! Dammit all to hell until then!

I carry a complete set of the guts for a carier, including the cross pen. Gotcha covered.

Been thinking about you guyz!
Cant wait to hear/ see the pics of the run!

So where is the story?

Any problems, did you take the Cisco Grove cutout or take it all the way through to Meadow Lake?

It was a good trip.

With the water flows as high as they were we really didn't have the Committee crossing exit as an option. As it was I was puckering on all crossings except the last one.

The only carnage, other than some more bondo falling off my rig:hillbilly:, was an inverted shackle on Johns truck somewhere in the last couple of miles of the trail. John did an excellent job on the trail, I think he only need help a couple of times. OTOH I was waiting for something to break at every obstacle because he was hammering that poor truck. Oh yeah we started out the trip by repairing a broken ARB air line on Marks truck right at the Pucker Camp.

Speaking of which, the two pucker spots at the start of the trail are misnamed at this point. FOF has done a stellar job of building up the shoulder so you don't get near as tippy. The by pass they are building at mile 6.5 looks like it will add a whole new set of obstacles to the trail and avoid a long stretch of dusty/muddy driving through the trees.

The Winch Hill 1 bypass is getting gnarly, not that it was ever a cake walk. In general the trail seems to be getting tougher every year.

There was more traffic on the trail than I've seen in a couple of years. I guess it's just hit or miss.

I wish I had my camera at work I'd start uploading some pictures, :meh:maybe tonight.

Ahh, but that is how we built it, yes, I know I'm rather rough on it, but I do believe in testing it to the limits.

I will post more later...

DAMN I wish that I could have gone!
By the looks of that squeezy spot John was going thorugh, that would have called off any deals on the Blotch rig from body damage alone...Might have been worth it...:meh:

Must be doable in a 60 series Dylan did it w/o damage, there's no by pass that I remember.
