I'll parts from an 85 Toyota work on my 89

I blew reverse in my toy and I have a leed on an 85 parts truck will the tranny swap
Over to an 89 22re or no

Depends on what you have. Either trans will bolt up to the engine, but it's the other end you have to look at.

Are both T-cases forward shift, or is one a top shift?

If different you could install the trans/t-case out of the 85. I think that the t-case shifter location would be the only difference.
