Just bought back my old pickup truck. It's an 88 XCab that runs great. Last owner didn't want to fix the bed rust and the leaking power steering pump so sold it back to me. Truck runs strong, always did. Mileage is 188K but this engine sounds great. The timing belt had been changed right before I bought the truck at about 119K (I'm stretching my imagination here). I don't know if the heads were ever off the truck but I can tell you it NEVER ran hot when I owned it. Starts at the touch of the key, idels fast when cold and idles down perfectly when warmed up. $550 takes the engine complete with wiring harness, starter, power steering pump, flywheel and clutch setup, and all air intake stuff. I'm located in northeastern PA near Paragon and Rausch CReek off road parks, would prefer to sell to someone who can pick up the engine at my home in Brockton (zip 17925 for you Mapquesters).
