I just installed a used engine in my 88. Like a dumb **** that I am I did not label all the lines off the intake, but have gotten most back on with the exception of two. The first is on the unit that bolts on the head behind the intake (with three bolts to the head, then a arm if you will to the upper intake) I think it is the EGR, the small hose fitting blows out air and has no line connected to it, where does it go? Second, below the intake is a unit that connects to the crossover from the exhaust , it has a small line on it, where does that run?
Other question, I have no timing light (thought mine worked but no), and am out in the woods, I need to go to work tomorrow (100 mile round trip) is there a way I can get it close enough not to hurt anything?
It sounds good, 125 in all cyl. It has a little rocker noise, but all the valves are set. It does not run hot, and I am quite proud of myself for getting this far (my god the mess in my garage!!!).
