88 4 runner problem

my 88 4 runner starts fine on warm days but on cold days i have to hook up a battery charger to get it to turn over.

it has new pwer and ground wires to the bettery

once started on cold days it will restart after a couple hours but any long length of time it dies again

i was just wondering if this was a common problem for the toy v6's

any help would be appreciated

sounds just like a bad battery........warm it's fine cold it's dead

i had the same issue with my 4 banger.. New starter cured it!

new battery or rebuild the starter. its easy and costs 20 bucks.
2 copper contacts and a plunger. done and done.

if you want to replace the starter, ill send you a $20 check for it, as long as its Nippon-Denso.
