HEll o i got an 87 toyota pick up 22r base modle 5 speed with an AISAN carb and it looks like old and raggy. and i also have a hard time getting it started in my mornings when its cold and takes for ever to warm up i was wondering what would be the best carb to replace it with its a all stock motor please give me suggestions ive got a price range of around $300 thank you!

Last month I got a rebuilt carb for my 87 22r 5spd from nationalcarburetors in FL. They have a web site and also sell on ebay. It came boxed nice in about eight days and looks brand new and includes the gasket. No adjustments were necessary and it is the identical carb that my truck came with. I paid 239 delivered.
Also be sure you execute the correct start procedure to set the choke for a carbureted motor.
