My 86 rtec yota is the first toyota truck I have owned. I'm currently in the process of figuring out what the last owner really did to this poor old truck. Half the emissions stuff is either gone or junk at this point. How would I go about just clearing it all out of the engine bay? What is necessary (if at all) for the turbos to operate properly?

I'm trying to remember what all mine had on it...
I think all it had was the EGR valve in the back on the intake side and no recirculation tubes back to the exhaust.
I made some shims to sit between the manifold and the EGR and ground them flush in case any one ever looks.
