Hey guys! Haven't been on here in awhile, but I have been working on this Truggy build slowly. It has been a great rig, even though it's not as well equipped as I want it to be.

But here is how she started out (as a little farm truck)

& when she was done:

Now after a bit of beating on her. With work done to her & adding some small accessories here & there

Future Plans: ( Not in order)
4.7 Tcase
Link the front
Lockers F/R
Skids
Full Hydro Steering
37" red labels & beadlocks
New front air shocks
Front winch
Bedsides
Custom Tailights
& more

Since this picture I have cut the fender wells, sold the km2's & its now sitting on bald boggers, fixed the rear link suspension problems, front trail-gear axle rebuild.

It is open/open & has performed surprisingly well. Have kept up with quite a few well built rigs through some tough trails.

Will update more as I work on it.

How much is invested in the whole rear set up

Honestly not much, its not done with top quality parts. Works fine for now but will upgrade it to beefier links eventually. If you do the work you can probably knock this link setup for $100 (cheap hiems)

looks great man, was the back half nessasary from frame rust,or the way you wanted to go with air shocks. i'm looking to get rid of my coil springs in favor of the airshocks and was curious.

The frame does have some rust on it. But it wasn't the reason behind me doing this. Was inspired by quite a few truggy builds & the flex is just absolutely amazing. Can't wait to do the front ;)

Do you have a crossmember can you plz post more pic or how your 4 link is set up I was looking into doing it

Stock crossmember. Outer Link brackets are mounted where the frame was cut off. A bar is welded in between the frame & the inner link brackets are attached to it. Just recently added alot of support due to it kept ripping the bar welds.

Hopefully in the near future I will have bedsides on it to give it a better look. & maybe a basket to put a cooler in the back

Ok well can you plz post some more detailed photos if it. I'm just really interested in doing it but can't afford the $1500 kits to do it. I'm 17 on a high school budget

I need new leafs mine are shot. Would rather go the 4 link way if u can do it cheap. I understand the brackets but are the bars something special and what links the bars to brackets.

For the absolute best quality & best price. Checkout Off-Road Fabrication Parts - RuffStuff Specialties.
Dan has full link kits for around $500-$700. Or you can buy individual brackets & tubing & what not too.
& I help ya out to save some money, if you do purchase from there, use this 10% discount code: INFAMOUS4X4. It will save ya 10% off your order bro.

And with an update, just finished removed all the crap under the dash on passenger side (heater core, etc).
Way more leg room!! Also relocated the battery to inside the cab since I cut out the fender wells.

I will try & get up pics tomorrow of the rear suspension & the new done work.

As for how to mount the bedsides I recommend the same tabs the race cars use. I caution you on when you make them because as you know your going to need your brackets to be removable with the bedsides or you will hang them up while wheeling. Is your real goal to make it street legal?

If it had a title i would most definately street legal it. This thing drives better on the road then any DD I own.

I was thinking of extending the cage out more & just adding in brackets to mount to the cage, & then bolt the bedsides on.

As for the wishbone, was never my pick of choice, but this thing flexes like no other in the rear end. Its the front that needs work.

But good god can it flex in the rear =) Eventually i get it on a Ramp & get a good pic of it
