A few weeks ago my daily driver decided at 297k, it was tired of making the weekly trip back and forth to Indy.
I'm looking to get 650 out of it.
If I can't I'll just toss another 22RE in it and see how much farther it can go.
The bad:
It has a nice knock, and I'm guessing it is a rod.
erratic idle... didn't bother me with all the highway driving.
It is rusty and from the area.
4 worn out BFGs.
tired springs.
The good:
garage fresh trans and used clutch from Tony (a few years ago....)
fairly well maintained- newer brakes, tie rods, u joints.
most everything works- You could drive it home if you wanted.
