Picked up an 85 jayco yesterday cheap. It needs a new cable kit and eventually a new canvas... I might just get it working and unload it but for now does any one know of a good source for parts and a good place to get a new canvas? Also would like to refurb the surge brakes, probably need all new lines and slave and master cylinders. Any thoughts on that? Thanks, Kief.

Thanks, I found another RV repair outfit that looks like they cater to tent trailer stuff. I sent out for a quote from your link. I get tired of looking through thousands of results..
Like I said, I bought it cheap. If it is going to cost to much time or money its out of here.

I'm hoping to pick up a cheap popup that needs rehab in the next year or so. The future wife gave me the go ahead :D .

Keep us posted on how the rehab goes, if you decide to do it that is.

Hey Kief....where are you? I've been looking for one to make into a Baja rig.....

I'm in Oregon, near Medford/Grants Pass. Received two responses for new canvas top, 760 and 675, both the made by the same place, different dist. , including shipping.

I was thinking about upgrading and modifying it so it would handle some rough terrain. Also thought about making it a fixed top. I'll do it right after I finish siding and painting the house, restore a cruiser or two and.....

My father has an old 73 Skamper that he wants to get rid of in Tulsa. My Aunt bought it new in Houston. We used it for Deer hunting for several years. I can probably get someone a deal on it if they are interested. PM me.
