Yea, the dui dizzy is aweome, easy and maintance free. However like I said call their tech guys , tell them what you got and they will advise if it will fit. I know for certain it would in my 22r cause I have the Trail gear pump kit, its really compact.
Basically whatever I can do to make it work properly, if I have to spend the money that's fine, I just want it to work properly for a long time.

Now before I go about doing this should I trace out some other things? I don't want to pay for the conversion just to realize it wasn't the problem.

Or do you think I can be sure that that is what's causing the problem?

ok, as for the headlights, check the wires going into the relay block under the dash. Mine had a fire there due to a loose connection. If the relay is clicking over then it is more than likely an intermittent ground( not necessarily a ground wire but a wire grounding out somewhere if that makes sense.) Also, check the resistance across the terminals on the lights themselves.

Main power is RED/LIGHT BLUE. to headlight relay. out of relay is RED/WHITE splits and connects control switch and dimmer switch. Out of relay to fuse block is RED wire. Out of dimmer switch is RED/YELLOW to headlights. RED/GREEN from lights ties them together and goes to high beam indicator light, then WHITE/BLACK to ground(one near the regulator the other to the right side of instrument panel bracket)

From the fuse block: to left headlight is RED/WHITE; to right headlight is RED/BLACK.

There are 2 15AMP fuses in the block one for each headlight.

Hope this helps.
