That is a good question. Toyota did a pretty good job stamping detents where things were to be mounted and I don't remember seeing anything down the tunnel where it would be attached to. The gauge pod in front of the shifter had detents in the floor that was used to line up the lower bracket for the SR5 gauge pod.
