I have to figure out how to attach the solenoid pack, with that big finned end cap it's not as easy as the old motor.

I used Redline MTL, that should be fine right?

I used a 3/8" thick piece of plastic,cut a strip and then used heat to put a curve in it for a spacer on the left side. New longer band clamps and done.

hmmm... mine went on easy, using the same motor. I don't remember what I did or having any problem though; I'll have to look at it when I get back home and see how it mounted.

Nice job on your winch; better than new.

Thanks, I'll try the plastic trick if I don't end up mounting the pack under the hood somewhere.
