8274 help

Picked up a warn 8274 kid said it works any way to try and start it out of truck and don't have a remote for it. Want to see before I instl it onto the 40.

Use this diagram, some jumper cables, and alligator clip jumpers. Hook the power leads to a battery with the jumper cables, and use an alligator clip jumper to connection from +12VDC to the black or green wire. That should make the motor jump.
