One of the places I regularly wheel is a place called Land Cruiser Mountain Park. It is a privately owned 4wd park with lots of trails ranging from easy to insanely hardcore. One of the more popular tracks on a Saturday night is Camp Road. All the wannabes hang out there in their lifted and locked trucks, showing off to each other how hardcore they are. Camp Road is a short but steep uphill climb with a series of deep holes to test out your articulation. I love standing back and watching the carnage as lesser 4bys try to get up the hill. After somebody in a highly modified truck breaks something I jump in my unlocked 80 and drive the hill without lifting a wheel or getting any wheelspin. The drunks then come over and ask what brand lockers I have installed. The look on their faces when I tell them it's unlocked is priceless. I used to do this all the time when the 80 was stock with 31" ATs. Not as much fun now the rig is more capable.
