wheel bearings for a mini conversion same as FJ40

Here's the background- Mini disc break conversion was done by previous owner. I recently did a complete knuckle rebuild and replaced the wheel bearings.
Now the disc break calipers are not close enough to being centered over the disc to be called good.
So, I was wondering if I used the right wheel bearings.
Are the Landcruiser Wheel bearings and Mini wheel bearings the same?
What else could cause the caliper to not be centered?

Yep, they're the same.

I'd guess the hub wasn't pushed past the new stiff spindle seal to seat all the way in. Can you even put both spindle nuts on?

yeah both nuts went back on. I will have to pay closer attention when I put it back together.
