i scored these two today and was hoping to get some guidance as i strategize putting them on.
i have the Slee Auxiliary harness which i picked up shortly after getting my rig and it's still in the plastic here somewhere. i do not have any kind of jumper which i see is mentioned on the site? the one complication is i /also/ have the slee harness for the OEM lights installed after having to do a lot of early morning and late at night driving awhile back. but i went out one day and no lights so i eventually troubleshot this down to the harness so it is still laying in the engine bay but it is disconnected and i have these two relays i need to test.
does anyone have these installed on the short bus bumper? i did a quick fit up on the at home (couldn't wait) and it looks they need some kind of spacer?
also what is the strategy here if i have the slee auxiliary harness does it have a built in fuse? do i wire it directly to the - well i guess i need to pick up the jumper in order to get it to plug into the harness without the regular lighting harness being connected?
also how are you guys getting through the firewall?
lastly any suggestions on a switch?
