Hello All,

I bought a set of second row non-US reclining seat hinges but one was missing the tension flat steel spring. It is the spring shown in the example shown in the attached picture.

Wondering if the third row 80 series seats have the same spring?

Any one know? Thanks much in advance.

This is the third row mechanism from a ‘97. Looks the same to me.

Truly appreciate the picture & reply. I agree on the fit. Thanks much, Matt

So, the third-row hinges recline (can't remember) AND are interchangeable with the second row???

The US third row hinges don’t recline normally. You can modify them to recline by grinding out the stop pin. It’s been a few years since I modified mine but there is a thread on MUD detailing how to do it.

IIRC, the second row hinges can be modified the same way but I’ve never taken my second row apart to look.

As far as assembly interchangeability, they look like they share the same design/parts.
