80 Series Fox Performance Series IFP Lift Kit - Missing Retainers

I'm a bit confused with the retainers. I recieved the outside retainers, but none for the 'inside'. I'm guessing I should have these?
The old one has retainers surrounding all the cushions, so 2 retainers per cushion, regardless of front or rear.
The new fox shocks I recieved, only have retainers for the outsides.
I reached our to SRQ Fabrications, but they're a bit slow to reply.
Their photos are accurate to what I recieved though.

For the rear shock, there seems to be a discrepency between the dealership info and the service manual, for where the middle retainer goes.
Dealer says below the shock absorber bracket, service manual says above. I'll go with the service manual, but that's interesting.
