i'm troubleshooting a couple issues.

the latest is my clock keeps resetting to 1:00. this seems to have happened when i was troubleshooting two issue and went to remove rhe passenger side vanity light which was an LED and i shorted out the circuit with a metal key and blew the fuse.
so i replaced the fuse.
the other issue that i am experiencing is front and rear taillights go on when i have the headlights on, then they shut off with drivers door opening and i open the rear hatch.
the issue i seem to have fixed is the headlights not going out when opening the drivers side door and i fixed this by replacing the two LED interior dome lights with incandescent.
i'm going to google the problem and also study the electrical diagram. i plan to clean a common harness ground of some kind up under the rear tailgate which i guess is outside the vehicle but not totally sure.
i should also say the ultra gauge display seems dark with no backlighting now. not sure if that means it's failing or if the connection is loose or it is related to this clock problem.
also as mentioned i pulled the LED lights from the vanity lights in the visors and now that it honk about it i haven't replaced them with incandescent yet. could this be it?
