Wanted 80 series (97 LX) radiator needed (OR TOP TANK)

I busted that little bypass nipple on top and everyone is pointing me in the direction of replacing the radiator or at least the top tank.

Does anyone have a spare they can part with, or even the top tank itself?

I busted that same stupid nipple.

Ended up replacing the entire radiator. Glad I did because it solved some over-heating issues I had.


When I was looking at it, I thought it might be possible to drill and tap that spot, then screw in some sort of brass nipple.


Just a thought...



(disclaimer: I don't know if drilling or tapping would weaken the area and possibly cause the rad to blow...)
