I haven't seen the green 80 in long enough to not recall this - do the mounts on the roof rack clear the factory roof rack side runners? and it is an AO rack, right?
We'd like to add load bars to ours. I wrote Slee about this clearance for the AO bars shown on his site - guessing they are the same mounts used for the rack. Also called Offroad Unlimited, who purchased Conn-Ferr and sells what used to be Bulldog gutter mounts under the Defender name now. A set of these w/ some Al rectangular tube stock looks like a good option too. They adjust for 4-6 inches clearance, but are powder coated carbon steel instead of the AO stainless.
