was pretty funny actually.
this is a little creek with banks of 1 or 2' on the main part of the beach.
The smart folks of course cross it upstream where it's fresh water rather than at the edge of the surf where it's salty.
Either way, not much of a problem really, but there were several people who got stuck there. And one guy with a 2WD Suburban making a few bucks popping them out with a snatch strap.

Ok, how do you link multiple pics on one response???????

You place the photos on a web server and link from the server

Just change the brackets to this style [ and it will pop in the photos.

See anything like this out there?

Stop whining................. :princess:

Thanks Chris - no access to a web server to do that. I'll stick with the three per that Woody allows. Just cool the way the multiple pics were posted.

Not a VW Bus...but something just about as ridiculous. There was a early 90's Geo Metro (yes, you read that right....you know, the one with the 3 banger in it) with ATV scoop tires mounted on the front. I guess the Geo Metro has the same bolt pattern as ATVs. Go figure. I wish I took a picture, but I am sure somebody did, so post one up.

Actually, with the Metro being so light, sounds like it could float on the sand pretty well.
And with its Turbo (optional) motor, it sounds like it might be able to climb those hills okay.
Was that the case?

I saw the Geo or whatever it was being carried away on the bed of a regular size pickup truck. Was just sticking out a bit on the lowered tailgate...
