It began with a donor
And removing stuff from said donor.

Then we (the owner mainly) decided on a repower. supposedly the mounts were a direct bolt in.
I wasn't impressed with the fit, or the stock mounting points.
SO.....
made new ones.

here you can see the new front leaf hanger that extended the frame.

Oh yeah... we needed a regear
DSCN7090.jpg

guess we gotta lift the rear too.....

DSCN7142.jpg

Guess I don't have any pics of the rear stuff, but it's f150 springs with an extra leaf.
Rears up front

Took 2 tries (not my math lol)

We armored the daylights outta the front axle, filled it with an elocker, longfields, marlin hysteer, ifs calipers, 40 rotors, etc etc etc.
However, I haven't got any pictures of it apparently...
This is the best I've got.

Here you can see nice long spring perches and our "custom" u-bolt mounting to work with the cut and turned knuckles (should be 4 degrees caster)

Wait.... what's the other stuff in the pics of the wiring?

This had to be supported

So a piece of 2 inch .120 wall DOM

IMG_0387.jpg

Then we started an in-cab cage

DSCN7237.jpg

Got some sheer plates from DIY4X4

IMG_0389.jpg

DSCN7238.jpg

Bent a halo, down tubes, etc etc and gusseted it a bit

DSCN7241.jpg

The goal was a tight fit to the sheet metal.

I think we got it.

After the final clearancing of the cab it fit up there pretty good.
We could have covered most of it with the factory sunroof headliner.

Alot of stuff got done with no pictures, but here's a pic of it getting closer.
IMG_0377.jpg

And we had to check some stuff for clearance.
DSCN7292.jpg

We ended up with an fj40 radiator, spal fan, stock fwd coolant fan sensor, a ton of wiring, a whole mess of tube, parts from Marlin, trail gear, Sky, etc etc.
I slacked off on the picture taking for a bit.... but the latest thing has been a front bumper

Jury is still out on whether this heim will hold up.

To the best of my memory:
86 4runner 22re auto with no engine
85 front axle: trailgear truss and armor, and a whole lot more "custom" armor
Marlin hysteer kit.
30 spline longfields, and hub gears.
Custom spring pads
Aisin hubs
Elocker
Spacers
late fj40 rotors
IFS calipers
Rear IFS axle, spooled.
Yukon 5.29's in both.
88-ish rears up front, reversed, a few extra leaves.
Front axle moved forward 4 inches or so.
steering box moved forward about 2.5 inches.
Early 90's Ford f150 rears with a jeep j10 leaf thrown in IIRC
TG? shock hoops in front
Sky? rear shock hanger
5150 14 inch front
5125 12 inch rear
90? supra 7mge
rebuilt with OEM parts, excepting: shaved head and block, Cometic MLS head gasket. 80 lbs on head bolts.
Supra instrument cluster and wiring, 4runner rear wiring spliced in.
Truck heater control stuffs
w56, dual 2.28 cases with marlin dual adapter
Internal cage from 1.5 .120 dom
sliders from a mix of 2 inch .120 and 1.75 .120 IIRC.
Cage tied to slider legs through body with sheer plates.
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting
