I am need of a 79+ FJ40 gas tank, ASAP. Busted the bung on mine.

if you can find someone that wants to ship a used fuel tank. i just took one out of a 1981 Bj42 the other day...vg condition no leaks and very little corrosion

$40.00 plus shipping


and of course its clear across the country....it always seems that, what you need is far, far away.

I'll keep it in mind. Any difference in tanks between a gaser and a diesel?

Steel Cruiser Parts has a new one for $299 which may be the ticket.

no difference that i know of, you might have to use your existing pickup and sending unit...........but im not 100% sure of that
