Hey everyone, fairly new to the mud community, been lurking for quite a while reading informative posts and guides, but now I thought I try give a little back, a thread full of pics!!
This build will be slow and a learning experience for both myself, my mate I'm building the truck with and the readers of this thread, with a operator and a boilermaker working on this project anything could happen :3
The plan for the truck is to build capable competition truck, purely offroad purpose. Basic Plans so far include:
- strip cab and repair rust (another tub is a possibility)
- remove tray, snorkel, scrub bars, side steps and bullbar.
- parabolic springs (considering SOA however we need to revise the lift rules for one of the comps)
- reco injector pump
- One of Graeme's awesome GTurbo grunters.
- full exterior cage, custom tray with radiator and tool boxes
Then once the basics are done we will move on to the real gear (lockers, highmount etc)
Now for some photos!

The first photo of the pig rig

Could not get a car trailer to take it home, and we couldn't drive it due to a water pump leak, was coming out as quickly as it was poured in! Ended up towing with a chain and pushing it back in the shed.

And this is where she will live for the next year! After quickly looking at the water pump the leak is obvious - 10mm of play in the shaft, no bearings left at all!
