Cotton Land Cruisers,

I scored a nice pair of 75 lower swing-out doors. The plywood tailgate on the GunRunner has got to go! The new-to-me doors are already cammo, so I may not even need to paint them.

Since the GunRunner is a 77, I will need to drill the necessary holes to mount the hinges. It would be great to take a few measurements on a 75 or older tub before I start drilling.

Thanks

my holes are filled with bondo and painted. Sorry

One set of holes should be the same huh? Put it up there if the are and drill away at the new ones. There is a 74 for sale over here by be that you could measure though.

later,

mine is a 75...stop by to measure anytime...and i think i have the doors you are talking about...

I wish the upper holes were the same, but they're not.

Thanks William! I will be in touch.

Williams truck will be the same as yours unless it's a factory soft top. You need a 74 or older.

Ambulance doors started in 75? I thought it was 76.

I dare not question the knowledge of our 40 year old King!

Ya got that right! :grinpimp:75 was the first year for the amby doors and the thicker front doors. Just in case our "internet wheeler" has a line on them someday! Holla if you want me to contact the guy with the 74. We could go over this weekend and measure if you want. I need to look at it anyway.

later,

Let me know what time you want to go. Saturday mid AM or later or Sunday 1:30 or later.

On another topic...

What's this about you pumpin a clean load?!?!?! That can't be good, can it?

Free of disease and contaminates is what I heard. The Air Force test him regularly.

That too but that saying has kinda been a POL motto for years! Our fuel is filtered at least 3 times before it goes on the aircraft. We've also got the "We've got gas" one which is one of my favorites! :grinpimp:

Thats what I figured, but I had to check to be sure. Just making sure it was'nt a reference to someone getting s*** detail and having to empty the crapper. That sure aint a clean load!
