I am posting this for a friend, as he has no internet connection at the moment. He has a 75 FJ40, clean title, that he'd like to sell, complete with everything except interior/ some metalwork that has not been completed. This truck has had the rear quarters replaced. It has a SBC(283) engine with a 79 4 speed behind it, and original transfer case. That work was completed by a previous owner, and while it works, it is not optimal. What is really nice about this truck is the suspension work completed. The front axle has Wilwood disc brake conversion(cross drilled and slotted), wilwood calipers, and rebuilt birfields. The truck also had the Shackle Reversal(front) and SOA performed)stock springs) , all top quality work. Body/Chassis is 60% complete, rear floor and rockers being only metal work not installed. Included with this truck is a whole host of other FJ40 parts, listed below:
6 Fuel tanks, all good condition ($50 each)
4 Trans tunnels( 1 brand new with shift boots, 3 in rebuildable condition)
1 2F engine with 4 speed trans, ran when last used
1 F engine, ran when removed from truck
5 heater units, good condition.($40 each)
1 Windshield, brand new glass and rubber, needs repainted(no rust), with wiper assy.
2 Fuel Tank covers
6 Fuel tank vent assemblies($30 each)
1 Double Hoop Bolt-in Roll Bar
2 Drivers side Ambulance doors, need rebuilt
1 FJ40 Split hood with all stock trim attached, surface rust only($150)
1 FJ40 Hood, Bedliner coated, but rust free($200)
2 Speedometers, great condition($200 each)
I'm probably leaving many things out, as he has a large collection of Cruiser stuff he needs to sell. He would like to make a package deal of the 40 plus all the parts for $7000OBO. He would rather not sell everything individually, the exceptions have listed next to them.This truck and parts stash is located in Central Va( Charlottesville area). He spent at 20K over the past 10 years collecting this stuff, and it is worth it.
