My '74 FJ40 has the four speed on the floor and this morning after driving for a while, my transmission stopped shifting into 2nd and 4rth gears. For the life of me, I couldn't make it go without severe grinding of the gears. Any ideas of what causes this and how to fix would be helpful. My thought is that maybe my clutch is going out, but I don't know how to diagnose that.
