Yes, although our Hilux may be the first - I think it will be even simpler than a 70 series. Gathering parts for awhile now...any ideas on swapping wipers to LHD? for simplicity I was going to keep them RHD sweep but you get the "blank spot" over in top LH corner.

i would find a wrecked CDM model, get a donor louver, use an air chiselt o remove the whole section of the firewall that houses the wipers. sounds like a big job, but a body shop can remove and replace that in a very short period of time - I've seen them do work like that - simply amazing.

Other than that you would just have to live with it - or move to the desert.

Or, maybe try toyota, you night get that part at a decent price - then it would be a simple install for a body shop.
