anyone out there know the wheelbase diminsions for the LJ70, 73, and 77. I thought I knew all this but now I'm not so sure. Educate me! Also anyone out there with first hand info on the 73 with FRP top?? Do they leak, squeak, Rattle , and have wind noise?

I have always thought the FRP top as the best. It doesnt make any noises and best of all it doesnt rust. Its not something you can take off in a few minutes and put back on again, it wasnt designed for that. They also come with the fold down windscreen that can be easily replaced with a new one of it rusts (and they usually do). Ive found the white FRP top to keep the vehicle cooler on hot days compared to the metal roofs. Squeaks and rattles usually come from the rear doors. Keeping the door latches adjusted, hinges lubed and putting rubber grease on the door rubber always kept them quiet for me.
I never had a leak from the roof. I did have a leak from under the windscreen which I fixed with black silicon and was still good 6 years later
