Looks like the female 90980-10895 connector is becoming very scarce. If not impossible to find readily. I came across this harness which is compatible with my boat (4-pin) and am thinking about going this route as a temporary solution. Anyone know if this connector is compatible with the connector that's existing on my 2003 Land Cruiser?

Can't tell from photo but that looks like it's 4-flat only - might be nice to have the blade version also. My decision was that having both options was worth the trouble to wire my own.

I agree, and I’m happy to make my own, I’m just not finding the female connector (90980-10895) needed. Puts me in a tough spot. My usual sources no longer carry it.

Just a question. I have my trailer wiring done with 7-pin but when i break, it powers up my turn singnals. I believe the blue wire is for trailer breaking but I do not need it. I also read in the first post OP made that this is the case. Is there any way to over come it? I cannot pass inspection if breaks light up indicator lights, i only want it to light up breaks when i apply break. Or do i have to tap a wire from factory lamp harness to 7-pin socket?

Edit: tapped break light wire of one rear taillight and ran it to 7-pin trailer socket. Trailer break light now lights up with car break light along with both turn signal.

90980-10895 looks to be no longer available. I wonder if anyone has cut off the connector on the car and wired it up using a different 6 pin connector set

I was thinking about just eliminating the plug-in connector that is currently on the truck and hardwiring in a new 7-blade using the wiring diagram from this thread. It doesn't seem like any of these parts are going to show up.
