I recently bought a Taxa Mantis Overland 19' trailer and I've been towing it with my 2018 LC. It weighs around 3,500lb, but with camping supplies probably around 4,000 or so.
Anyway, my 1989 LC has a 6.2L LS Swap with a 6L80 transmission (I've got about 6000 miles ) and I have OME Heavy Rear/Front. I want to start trailering the Mantis, but need to install a 7 blade connector (ideally also a 4 pin while I am at it).
The Mantis has a brake controller on it already (with a wireless remote that sits in the cab). I'd love ideas/suggestions for which 7 Blade and 4 Pin connector to go with. I've seen there is a Hopkins combo that could work potentially. Ideally I can tow any type of trailer with the new setup.
Also looking for any help with wiring instructions, I don't think too many folks are using a 7 blade on their 60-series.
