Wanted 66 fj40 chrome brake fluid cup.

An old time cruiser guy (origional 66 he bought off the dealer) is looking for a chrome brake fluid cup. Anyone got one?

he said, when he bought his from the dealer back in 66, the brake fluid container was chrome and it split and had to replace it with a plastic one and was looking for a "new" one.

Maybe it wasn't chrome, but some plated in something and he got it mixed up.

Was there ever a chromish fluid res? Was there ever a chromish one for the brake fluid res maybe?

the original reservoirs should have been plated and looked like a grade 8 bolt. never heard of anything along those lines in chrome......

Thanks georg. I'll post in the 40 section and see what I can find out for him. COmputers are new fangled things to this old timer.
