How much gap between the spring eye and the hanger are you guys leaving on 63's? The way I have mine laid out right now, I have a 1/4" gap. Is that plenty enough? On to the RUF, what leaf packs should I look for to add to them? Ranger, S-10, Heep? Hoping to only have to pick up one pack as money is kind of tight. Only looking to get the minimum amount of lift to run hi-steer, but my springs are the originals from 85, so they are a little worn out. Thanks for any help.

1/4 inch is tight. Its not going to kill anything tho. It might rub the eye/mount a little at good flex, thats it. Not the end of the world.

You WILL need some spring support under the three toyota leaves on the RUFs. I use cut down leaves form stock wrangler springs, cheap and easy.

Get rid of the overload leaf too. Without extra support leaves they will bend/fail.

On my RUF I used two sets of rear leaf springs. My Springs had a total of six leaves (extra strong for future 10,000lb winch!) And I used 63's with a 1.5" block (...) to net around 5" lift and fit 37's.

The RUF leaf consisted of
Stock Top
Stock Middle
Stock Bottom
Added Top Cut down 3" smaller than leaf before it
Added middle, Same Cut
Added Bottom, Same Cut

I did 1/4" on hangers. works fine IMO
