So my engine is in the machine shop with a melted piston, shop says they can order 60 over pistons and bore out the damaged cylinder. I gave them the go ahead 2 weeks ago, popped in yesterday to see how the progress was going and they said they still haven't found pistons for it. I'm getting a little impatient, I told them I wanted the engine back by the end of the summer, and I dropped the engine off a month and a half ago. Can you even get oversized pistons for the early style 2L or should I just tell them to get stock sized pistons and just sleeve the damaged cylinder.
