I ran into a guy from Venezuela on the weekend. He was quite curious about my truck, HJ61. He didn't really know a lot about deisels because he said gas is so cheap down there that there aren't really any deisels.
He told me that he remembered seeing these trucks in the 80's with a removable top (high roof) and that you could flip it upside down and use it as a boat. It even had a motor mount on the back!!! Does anyone know anything about this or was he sniffing glue and/or mistaking the landcruiser with another vehicle, such as a land rover?
If there are pictures out there, I would love to see them.
