That's Ross (current CLCC Treasurer) and his '89 FJ62. It's SOA w/ 2.5" lift springs on 36" tires. He's been working on the SOA for a couple weeks now after running into problems with the rear drive shaft, and he'd just gotten the tires mounted that morning. He's also got Iron Pig sliders and rear bumper/tire carrier.

The pictures really show the difference. It looks great with a lift.

I'm thinking of doing a lift myself and would appreciate some guidence here from the fundi's out there.

I've looked at a Man a fre lift kit which seems to be a good choice as it brings everything back to factory alignment.

Does any one know of any other kits? and is there one which comes tried and tested and highly recommended.

Is there a tyre chart calculator, to match the maximum tyre size with lift.


Lastly....does anyone know how to get hold of arctic trucks, or fajallasports or vormverk...i got no finger nails left from all the E-mails i sent, and my ear is sore from trying to communicate. Is there another company which makes a similar class of flares? I've tried bushwacker but they do not do this.
