Guys im am going to do a 5th stud conversion on the stearing with 9/16 arp studs. My question is do your need to heat up the cast and cool is slowly when you're weld the bolt in it and when you weld the new steal to the cast arm? Also do your need to just tack the bolt or is it a good idea to weld it all the way around. I've seen a couple threads on this and some used 1/2 inch steal I feel this is kind of over kill.
