5th gear probs

Got a 81 mini a while back, and in the process of rebuilding I noticed the 5th gear won't engauge. Any feedback would be appreciated.

what transmission.
it may be a 4 speed!

Its definatly a 5 speed toy stock

I think that 81's only had the 4 speed.

so now we need to know what transmission is in it.
marlin's site has identification pictures on it.

yep...........its a 4 speed, upgrade to a 5............they are cheap
